CURE CANCER

Cure Cancer is an organisation dedicated to funding crucial cancer research from Australia’s brightest emerging minds. After being donated some OOH adshels throughout Sydney the client briefed us to come up with some ideas to help raise awareness for themselves and the issues surrounding cancer, with a CTA that will ignite the public to donate money to the cause.

The idea was to contextualise some of the spaces we were presented and find the similarities between the issues surrounding cancer and the way people go about their day to day life. This paired with strong copy lead executions which when put into the right context, with the right message, aimed to confront people. 

The three conversation points we focussed on were; Popular bus routes with an average bus arrival time of 4 minutes, aligning with the statistic that every 4 minutes someone is diagnosed with cancer; Gentrified areas of Sydney clustered with people trying to stay socially on trend in bars, restaurants and cafes by spending their disposable income frivolously; Hospitals, which are often used as a landmark for direction, on mind if you’re ever near one, and highly relevant to Cancer patients.
